Hehe... You will obviously need a Note 3 for the wallpaper to look its best.

Another "reason" to get one. :D
 
Getting this extended battery for my S2 is quite possibly the best purchase I have ever made!

... if I do say so myself. :D

The extra battery juice is great, but the new back cover gives the S2 a very premium look and fantastic grip in the hand.

The S2 should have launched with it as standard.
 
Update for XFM GS2 up on SamMobile, still Android4.1.2 though:

I'm trying Paranoid Rom on the S2, Halo and Pie Controls sold me on it for now.

Some teething problems at first, but will see how it turns out in a day or two.
 
i'm giving my s2 (*sob*) to my wife's cousin and want to download and flash a samsung rom on it. he's not into flashy roms and customising, so i thought i'd just slap the original one on... but can't find a download that isn't hotfile (on telkom mobile's free wifi, so i want to see if i can download it).

anyone know of a place? i suppose an hour of free wifi won't do the job on their enormous 7814TB roms.

ah balls. have to go see a client now. at least my cappuccino was nice. :)

i'll make my wife download it at work.
 
My extended battery arriving tomorrow. Quite impressed with the delivery time actually, seeing as it came from the UK.

Just don't ask me how the transported it from Germany to Cape Town and then back to Germany in one day, this things carbon footprint is going to be huge! :D

Curious to know how you've found the PA experience so far on the s2?
 
It is not bad, like I said I really like halo and pie controls.

The touch screen could be a tad bit more sensitive, I have not found the time to really give this enough attention.

Overall I'm not so sure it is any better than CM 10.2 or Omega, will have to test it a bit longer (maybe a month or so) to have my final thoughts on the matter.
 
Any one else having a problem that they can install new apps, but when trying to update existing apps, you get an insufficient storage available error?

I'm referring to the internal SD card.
