On a similar note, my brother just got a Motorola Astrix in Canada, unbranded version, and he said he can't send mms' either... He said something about having to call his provider and getting them to reset the account or something. I don't think he's on a network that uses sim cards though... Most of Canada's cell phone networks are antiquated junk, oddly enough. I'll let you know if he gets it sorted before you.

Thanx, appreciated. It's definitely something to do with 2 sims, two numbers and one account. Did you get your phone and what was the pay in?

Still waiting. They said "by end of day Tuesday" when I phoned yesterday, but because I'm in the bush, they say they had to get another courier for the last stretch, as DHL doesn't deliver here (even though I've seen a DHL van in the parking lot...). I'm trying to phone the lady they gave me the # for to find out what's going on with the customs fees, as I haven't gotten a phone call yet, so I have this sinking feeling this will delay the phone another day or two... And I won't be around for most of tomorrow, and I'm not sure if they'll let the receptionist sign for it.

Last thing the tracking says is "Arrived at Delivery Facility in JOHANNESBURG OUTLYING - SOUTH AFRICA" at 7:11am today, and no sign of it being dispatched. If it doesn't leave in the next hour, there's no way it will arrive today.
 
Finally got a hold of them. Turns out they were missing a digit from my phone number (way to go Handtec!!)

Its actually about 40 minutes away, and they'll be sending it out this afternoon, but yup, I'm getting hit for R1308 :(
 
Well my phone arrived.

I'm annoyed at Handtec for not giving me a DHL tracking number, even when I opened a support ticket for it. Geez I ordered two of the phones and I still don't get some customer service!

Anyway, mine is sitting on my desk, safely in it's box. Keeping it in the box in case I get a good offer. Hoping I get good prices for my old phones so I can keep it though. I swear I can hear it in the box screaming to be set free...

Just open the blerrie phone. New or a only a few days old would not make a big difference to the selling price. The only danger is you are going to keep it after the opening ceremony
 
The latest offer is for R7000 and he wants it sealed...
Unless I get a good offer soon for my old SGS I'm not even going to see my SGS2.
 
Guys is it possible to order from Expanys US and not Expansys SA?
I see that they can deliver the goods internationally but does that mean now that I have to pay additional taxes?

My buddy just ordered his through Expansys SA. Paid R7800. Ordered a week ago and it arrived this morning. Awesome damn phone :D

They will reroute your order to expansys SA
 
Phone is now charging via USB :D I guess this UK wall charger is gonna sit in the box. I'll just have to grab an SGS1 charger next time I'm in town.

I have a Nokia 5800 for you :P

My SGS2 is sold. It was easy to sell, enquiries come in quickly. My SGS and Nokia 5800, not so much. If I sell them I might get another SGS2 for myself.

I saw my brother open his up, it's one damn fine looking phone. The Hantec one comes with a standard 2 prong charger, and the language is set to German. Once you find your way to the language option SA English is there.

Strange... I got a 3 prong UK adapter (ie, useless) and English on mine... also from handtec.
