I checked, it's blank... no text in the window... like the folder is empty......?

First just try a reboot. It's quite common for the first boot on CM9 to lose APN settings - they come back on the second boot, though (and then stay!).

Thanks guys, sorted.... I must say though, my one that I downloaded says it Android Version 4.0.4....?

Oh, and it's snappy, but my touch screen seems to have lost some sensitivity... Any ideas how to adjust that...?

Settings>Advanced>Screen lets you play with touchscreen sensitivity. And it should say Android 4.0.4.

Great work guys, this ROM looking sleek... Backup restored, everything in.... Small question, if I wanna freeze the launcher that's default on the rom, and use apex as the main, is that possible?

Haven't tried it myself, but people on XDA have mentioned doing it.

Haha, after all this talk of CM9 I've gone MIUI on you all. :D

I must say, it's a well rounded ROM, too.

No problem, glad people found it useful. I've just written the CM9 procedure up too: http://synapses.co.za/installing-cyanogenmod-samsung-galaxy-s2/ (those who are already running CM9, please feel free to point out anything I've neglected to mention).

Thanks for this, just followed it and, rooted and flashed CM9! Love it so far, the absence of a default File Browser is a bit weird though. Also, I do wish I had a scrollable dock bar without having to use a launcher from Play Store.

Not having a file browser was a shock to me too ... but I am kinda glad the stock browser is missing. I use ES file explorer. It has root access and a nice interface

How does ES File Explorer compare to Astro...?

Many many moons ago I had Astro ... but that was an awesome amount of moons ago!!
I can not compare it for you. All I know it that ES has an extremely easy interface. Access to Local (phone), LAN, FTP, Bluetooth, and Net (box/dropbox) is extremely easy.

Give it a try - you have nothing to lose - and perhaps you might find it easier that Astro

Sorry...new to flashing, so trying things is exciting :) Have you guys tried HyDrOXYG3N ICS?

Hydrogen seams quite snappy, trying f1 galaxy nexus at the moment and I'm liking it quite a bit.

Cool thanks...looks very similar to CM9 unless there some super tweaks that aren't mentioned.

How does siyahs kernels compare to stock...I know hes got a lot of customizations and all (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1555259) but is there really any difference in speed and battery life?

U can use BLN with siyahs kernel. The bottom buttons light up when u get a notification which is pretty cool.
