Well in theory yes - both roms are rooted. But actually it is the kernel that is rooted. So if you use Siyah for the dual boot facility, then in theory it is rooted. When you flash Siyah on the primary rom, you must also flash the same version on the secondary rom. So first thing you do after installing a secondary rom, is to flash the same kernel you used for the primary rom. I think all roms come with their own rooted kernels and it could be anything. So you have to replace it with the same Siyah kernel you have for the primary rom.

VERY IMPORTANT: The latest Siyah kernels are only suited for ICS roms. Do not mix GB roms with ICS roms or you might have trouble!

Question so if I pick the latest nightly CM9 Would I need a previous MOD i.e. Stable MOD 7.1.0 etc OR just Flash the latest on the 2ndary ROM...

I used the latest one and flashed. The rom is complete

Anyone having app force closes on CM9? Noticed Swifkey will do this every once in a while (I can't live without Swiftkey), but more general stuff like Gallery has also just closed. Any tips regarding this?
 
May not help but try clearing Dalvick Cache and Cache partition in CWM?

But have just flashed 16/05 nightly and its better than 13/05, you can customize the launcher.
 
Thanks so much OGroteKoning, between packing & getting ready for moving :-( I managed to downloaded CM9 latest version did everything as you instructed ***** all is well 100% :-)

No problems my side with Force close or video working 100%
 
If I flash a new version of the nightly will it also do a factory reset? Like will I lose my apps etc.

My apologies for the noob questions ;D
 
The ICS update just got pushed to my phone. Installing it now. (8ta S2)

Don't be nasty memphis, at least they got something ...

TBH, I had LP7 on for a short while, but went back to LPS because LPS' scrolling is so much smoother and responsive. I am contemplating to flash LP8 frankenstein to see if that is better (seeing it is a later version than LPS)
