Did you at least get some land to farm on as part of the deal?So filled out my form, saved it, clicked on it to see my calculation and now apparently I'm a farmer? Wtf? Also my full IRP5 vanished
No such luck. It just doesn't pick anything up now, I was unemployed for a year now. Who knew SARS could make their system even ****ing worse?Did you at least get some land to farm on as part of the deal?
Is the R2200 reflected on your medical aid tax certificate? For me, even 2 years ago with R20k out of pocket expenses, the Discovery tax doc reflected and satisfied SARS as part of my verification.I have 2 RAs and paid R2200 out of pocket and they gave agreed to pay me back this year. Weird that they didn't ask for proof of that out of pocket hospital expense. Will they ever ask for the receipt?
Please explain this if you can. I have discovery, and gap cover. My wife gave birth in the last tax year and we ended up paying about 13k to gynaecologist as Discovery wouldn't pay more than their rate and gap cover didn't reimburse too as they went with Discovery. I thought gap cover would have paid up to 5x Discovery rate but we never got anywhere. Can I use this to claim tax relief? Is the R2200 reflected on your medical aid tax certificate? Every single medical expense settled from your pocket should be recorded by Discovery for them to either reimburse you or not, depending on whether you have funds available or are entitled to be reimbursed. Please explain this if you can. Thx, did not know this. For us, loads of funds in MSA, just certain expenses we had to pay ourselves.Every single medical expense settled from your pocket should be recorded by Discovery for them to either reimburse you or not, depending on whether you have funds available or are entitled to be reimbursed.
When my household runs out of day to day funds every year, I make sure to scan and email every receipt to Discovery for medicine, doctors or specialists. They won't reimburse me, but they do add it all to "out of pocket" and then include that total on the annual tax certificate. I then enter that figure in my tax return and the Discovery certificate is proo ffor SARS. This year all my Discovery figures where already on my tax return when I logged i to efiling to Discovery had already pushed my data to SARS.

Or they've screwed me over![]()
I just submitted and its giving me an error "awaiting results"
Anyone experiencing this? No calculations available nor assessment result
So it works sometimes, as in reloads everything but then as soon as you click save again and then go back in to get your calculation, it freaks out and makes you unemployed again. What happens if you click the "Refresh IRP5 Data" option?
Rerun the calc. Mine said the same. Rerun and it will work now.Same here
