Smart outdoor security cameras in SA?

I am using these Tenda ones, one has 3x 410's on it with no issues.

When I bought them these Scoop ones with AI POE were not available, I think that would be a better buy. The idea is if the camera freezes, it power cycles the camera to get it online again. Now I have only had this happen 2 or 3 times this year, so not a big deal. My issues are also usually just after load shedding or similar, not really camera related.

I use the scoop Gig switches https://scoop.co.za/scoop-6-port-gigabit-ethernet-switch-with-4-ai-poe-and-2-uplink-ports.html they work well and i find the 410 cameras running H264 seem to the bog the fast switches down .

I watched the video and realised that I can use the same system I am using now to switch between using AI or not. I have 2 profiles set up, profile 1 saves the detection image in the deepstack folder to analyse, and profile 2 saves it in a different folder. I toggle between profiles from HA using MQTT to Blue Iris. So I can still do the same if I don't use the AItool and have Deepstack integrated in BI.

You just need to check if you can set BI to save a copy of the detection image to a folder in your HA instance. I do this with the AItool which has a feature to save a copy on positive detection, and HA and BI is running on the same PC (with HA in a VM) so it is easy to copy it across. Then I use Node Red to send that image name via Telegram. Each camera saves an image with its own name, so there is only 1 image from each camera in that folder and it gets overwritten with each detection.

Which Tplink cameras are decent?
 
I want to buy the Wyze Cam 3 to use outside, and maybe use one inside.
I specifically want something to easily remove and take with me when we move.

My concern is how to power them? They come with a 1A 5V power supply and a 1.8m cable.
How do you guys get power to your cameras?

I bought the Xiaomi outdoor wireless cameras on eBucks special. Anyone here have experience with them?

I'm using 4 wyze cam 3's. I also got some mounting hardware off Amazon.

I had an electrician install some plugs in the ceiling and I'm using 5v2A chargers I had lying around to power the camera's. So I'm just running the usb cable out from the ceiling wall to the outside. The entire line also has a shelly, so I can power cycle the all camera's if needed without having to climb into the ceiling.

The new rtsp firmware for wyze cam v3 also integrates nicely into home assistant.
