A neighbour sent me images last night of his 3mp 1080p hikvision cameras which would ordinarily be black and white at night but because he has LED lights (10w and 20w respectively for the images below) around his house its showing in color at night.
My question is will the Reolink RLC 510A, 520A, 410 and 520 do the same? If so, can anyone perhaps share some images.
The more I research these cameras the more indecisive I get.

Thanks a million. If they show in color then I am purchasing the either 510A or 520As. Out of interest, I see the RLC 420 is 41.99 USD each for the next day. Are they end of life because I do not see them listed on Reolinks website anymore.

It's possible that they are EoL, they seemed to always be on special last year when I bought mine. It makes more sense to get the 510s anyways with the built in AI detection. Currently I'm running my detection on a Blue Iris server

Although I think all I will get is confirmation that it is toast, can anyone suggest reasons that a HIKVision IP camera will not come back online after a power failure?
I was toying with thinking of going for cameras with AI tech but I had a beam installed in the back yard that covers the entire area where intrusion detection is concerned. I don't want multiple devices giving me notifications. I will let the TAKEX180 do its job. I will add a AI camera in future to keep an eye on the pool specifically

I have the 410's. I have outside lights so I turned the IR off in the camera settings and get colour images. Will depend on distance and amount of light available of course. This also helps to not attract as many bugs.
That is perfect because I can light up a stadium here.

Have you tried other ports? I'm assuming its a POE camera? Perhaps the port if fried and not the camera itself?

If you've got that much light then you should be fine - my place is not as lit. In the camera settings you can select for the ca,era to stay colour at night, switch to B/W only at night or always record in B/W

Some pics as promised. I tried to take one in BW and right after one in colour.
Think we must test out one of the Reolink 810s when they arrive.

Thank you for the images, I am sold. Seeing that it is an end of life product, any reason not to buy, I will to pull the trigger tonight or early in the morning.
For those that ordered recently. Am I correct in saying that if I order 4 they will ship with DHL? Don't want to wait till the next pandemic for the gear to arrive.

Are you sure you don't want to get the 510s instead?
Will you be getting the NVR as well.or just the cameras

Yeah I've been meaning to get 810s just budget hasn't allowed... hopefully I can get 2 or 3 more in a bit. Luckily I overprovisioned for POE (incl APs) so it's just the cameras I'll need
Just the cameras. Planning to setup a separate PC to run the cameras and Plex. I don't want multiple devices trying to detect intrusion as the TAKEX180 works brilliant.
Yes 3 or more they said the def send via DHL. But in notes just tell them not via SAPO due to theft and delays.
I think even 2, because my 2 are coming with DHL. Of course might be because they aware of issues I had with SAPO.
Did you order direct from their website? Did you use DHL I seem to remember you have shipping issues.
