Oh my word!!! Been sent all over Telkom telephonic support this AM. Some ppl told me I have Premuim uncapped (Heart attack!), others 1MB, now I find out I actually have Basic! (Which explains the 40K) Also the consultant refuses to sell me an uncapped 1MB on a 4MB line so I either have to downgrade my line or cancel... Cancel it is then,just hope I dont get biled for this...
Edit: Phoned Telkom again just to check and it was confirmed that 1MB uncapped cannot be used on a 4MB line although the consultant somehow signed me up yesterdya for BASIC! >.< Now they want to charge me for the full month even tho basic will be useless to me... this is going to make me one unhappy camper... and now she cut me off getting to the help desk...
Finally spoke to someone who knows about the uncapped, and he told me it would not be possible to get full line speed (4MB) on a 1MB service which renders this product useless to me... wish they were a bit more clear about "no restrictions apply" after 10PM as I was under the impression it was like an IS account that gave full line speed... Oh well, live and learn... Now to cancel and make sure they dont give me a hefty bill this month...
