Had my port recreated 3 times this evening. Line disconnects very 30 seconds. Eventually have all lights green and solid, but no throughput. Switched to my Mweb account, and it's flying along.

Why am I suppose to give the Technicians a copy of my ID, when they come and do the installation? Why can't I email this to them, in fact I thought that business could no longer ask consumers for copies of their ID's.

Annoys me to bits, that I got my reschedule for installation on Friday, but they SMS me on a Saturday to inform me of having a certified copy of my ID. Meh! Lol

If I'm moving into a new property (that I already own) in about two weeks time, when would be the best time to order a new line? I believe there is physically a line in place, but that is for the previous owner's account at this point.

Ask Doc Brown if you can borrow the DeLorean and go back in time 2 to 4 weeks. Else start pleading with the social media team to make it happen. Assuming you want a line ASAP?

Finally cancelled all Telkom services, after experiencing the same issues for 4 months whilst Telkom continued to just do the same thing over and over. As with many others on this thread, I have been waiting for a technician for the past 3 weeks, but it is clear that the technicians cant seem to get ahead and it is clear that Telkom is trying to milk a stone. They want the customers and the $s but they are trying to minimize their cusomer services. Nothing will change until people actually start exploring other options, but for some reason people just seem content with this absolutely patentic service on a consistant basis?

Had a good day today with my line, streamed a football match, build up to the rugby and the game. Also did 2 movies without any buffering on my 2mb line.

Hi TelkomZA

I've been communicating with your incompetent call centre and technical department for 2 months and have not gotten a solution to my problems and the problems still persist. I have put you guys on hello Peter several times with the hope that something will get done but I gues Telkom have too many lazy people employed.

Firstly I have been experiencing data loss of huge amounts without downloading/using the wifi devices and second my download speed has been dropped significantly.

I'm at wits end with Telkom. Please help. Here are the case numbers: 17099895 and 17096587

Am I considered a heavy user, if I streamed 10GB's in about 9 days? Lol I suppose that is 1GB a day, but just wondering. I'm on an uncapped package, but had a look at my stats, and its 10 133 971 074(is that 10gb's)

I wouldn't consider that a heavy user. I do 10+gb a day

Aah I see. Yeh I only stream, emails and bit of browsing. My son will download one or 2 games off the play store. But thats about it. I'm glad if that's acceptable usage at least. Thought maybe ooh 10GBs already in only 8 or 9 days, and wondered if that is too high.

I would just like to take a moment to thank Charl for the work he does.
Sorted all my issues out very quickly.
