does anybody know, on an uncapped line, does your usage get reset every month?

basically i had my line installed on the 19th October, so i have 2 weeks to the new month(Pro Rata). Do i assume, that from the 1st November, that my usage is reset to 0, and i start again?

Depends on the ISP, TI resets on the 1st of the month some others use rolling windows eg: xxGB in 30 days.

Normally it's a rolling 30 day window, i.e. the last 30 days regardless of what the date is. Otherwise the network will fall down on the 1st.

If it's rolling 30 day window, you'll never start fresh.

thats basically what i just need to know. As my understanding on how they work the uncapped side is a bit confusing, as ther is no data per se, where they reset you to. But if ive used 50GB's based on the stats.saix checker, will that now show 0GB's used from the 1st, if that makes sense

Lol. I'm guessing you should be using that every 4 days or so to get into any type of throttling zone.

lol, ive been surprised that ive only used that amount, i thought it would have been alot more. Ive been streaming quite a bit(thats all i really do), well apart from the kid maybe downloading a game or 2 off the play store, but ive literally done 1.6GB's a day

Ooops, you're right. IIRC they changed the colours, used to be green > orange > RED (***** ... )

hahahaha, actually a good point Mick... 3 days to end of the month, going to just let it go. BUT, would that count against me going forward, and make me somebody they will monitor more closely?
