The 2018 Weight Loss Thread

Weekly weigh in. 116.5kg, 0.6kg Loss for the week. Forgot to IF but still 100% keto.

When you say trying out Fitchef, do you mean the whole shebang with shakes etc... as snacks? Be aware the main meals are really small... I weigh half your weight (male, 1.67m) and I found them too small! Therefore really costly compared to what they are giving you. If you add some sort of low carb veggies with their meals then perhaps it could be filling enough, but then that also half defeats the point of buying their really expensive plastic wrapped frozen meals.

It is more the convenience of having something in the fridge/freezer at all times so i don't eat crap. 2 kids(1 and 3) and my wife and i running our own businesses have been really tricky... When i do cook i cook healthy anyway its more for those lunch times and dinners we don't cook...

It's my weekly check in and i am happy with 117.2kg from 120KG so i'm happy with that considering i didn't exercise this week. I just kept to single portions at dinner and lunch and oats for breakfast... I think maybe i just eat too much

So now that festive season is done.. I guess it’s time to get back on the wagon. Last weigh in was yesterday.. 88.5kg.
No specific diet in mind currently.. just cutting back on alcohol, sweets and carbs.
Turning 40 in June.. so I think that will be my goal date to get to 80kg

I don't normally weigh on a Monday to avoid starting the weak with sadness.

Yesterday I had crumbed calamari and was sure things would not end well.

Low and behold, another 400g down from Friday (must have had LCHF water Whoosh over the weekend)

New weight: 116.1kg

Calamari is ok, just go easy on crumbs. Grilled is better. Cajun best.

Yeah, we went to a harbour side rustic/casual fish place. I ordered grilled fish but they did not offer grilled calamari. I left the smaller pieces of crumbed calamari for my kids and only ate the fatter pieces to get more meat bang for buck versus crumbs

East London? I know when I traveled ELS/PLZ way a couple years ago, the general opinion was that calamari was good for bait, not many places sold it as food ( thats was around 2000's ). My brothers down there though and he went to a awesome spot on the side of some river, having beers and lunch.
