Does Jailbreaking void the warranty?

Anybody have a gift certificate I could purchase?

And I quote: "And Visual Voicemail lets you select and listen to messages in whatever order you want"

So how can it NOT be available if it is advertised as one of the iPhones unique features?

Does not void the warranty unless you start changing bootloaders which you should not do if you are officially unlocked, I'm selling a few certificates but it's first come first served and I'm running out of funds to purchase more. :)

Ok I decided to do the upgrade the the 3G. Anyone interested in buying my 2G iPhone 8 gig unlocked and jailbroken....? I just need enough to to the upgrade on my current contract....say R3000? Or is this too much?
 
Ok, so my iPhone 3G is locked on "No Service" again. Most annoying is that my friend with Nokia N82 had full power 3G coverage, while mine sat there in silence. I have restarted, tried the "Hold the sleep and home button till the Apple logo comes up" trick, tried resetting network settings, tried changing the carrier, tried switching the 3G off. I'm fresh out, besides going back and demanding a new unit.

Anyone else experiencing something similar? How many other guys are using MTN?
 
Bought an official one from Dion Wired. Upgraded to Software version 2.1 via iTunes 8 yesterday. Had problems last night, so I restored this morning from my Macbook, which downloaded ver 2.1 again. All was well until I left the house.

I have just put my wife's sim card in, which I don't think is 3G (not written on the card). Got full bars, we'll see for how long...
 
Huh, good call. Wife's SIM card is 3G, and it works fine. So must be the friggin SIM card. Thanks, I'll try get another one tomorrow.

I know, its really strange... Had the same problem on a previous card. They must revise them now and then.
 
Got a new card, apparently there is a Con WIB version and a Con 3G version (or something similar). The 3G is more advanced, but less compatible. So I got a ConWIB and all is raindrops and kittens... :-)
