The Official Cyanogenmod Thread

New theme engine options being pushed out in the latest nightlies. Looking awesome.

I'm running the 12-2015-02-09 nightly, and I cannot seem to perform a system restart or power-on without first clearing Dalvik cache. This causes all the packages to "update" and re-apply on boot. Not using the official CM GApps though - I'm using a stripped-down, Google Play only package. Will try with official full GApps later tonight. Anyone experiencing something similar though?

Mine is very "laggy", I'm just to lazy to change to another ROM. Currently updating via CyanDelta as soon as updates come out. Not yet sure if this might be part of my problem or if the regular updates will help.

Running cm-12-20150212-UNOFFICIAL-yuga nightly and seems OK... battery a little iffy, and cannot seem to install any CM12 themes, they all result in "cannot install theme error"... otherwise daily use ROM it is fine.

Not a fan of the new white and colourful direction to the look and feel, but can only hope for a darker or more muted official option when released officially.

So I flashed 12-20150212-NIGHTLY with the official GApps, and now I no longer have boot issues (no more need to clear Dalvik cache before each boot, and no more reapplying of packages). I have have thus far experienced less random reboots on this release (once again, this may have been due to my previous, custom GApps package however), but battery life remains poor, at least when comparing to the stock ROM... Sadly, I am assuming it will take some time until battery life and power management is up to scratch on CM12. Performance however is great, no complaints there.

I ran CM12 Nightly's for my device (Z1C) and it's currently pretty stable with ok battery life. However as usual with a fresh release there's plenty of device related issues on most builds atm. Had to return to CM11 with Greatdev's kernel after a couple weeks playing around due to bluetooth issues.

Battery life the only big real gripe with CM12 at the moment.

I saw a new CM11 nightly for my phone and thought I'd see if that was any better... but, after about an hour of using CM11 again, restored the CM12 backup and decided I can live with the sucky battery... CM12 is just nicer to use. Hopefully this battery drain will be reduced or fixed by the time the official LP is released.

Exactly how I feel too. Lollipop is really awesome to use, I can't go back to now. Battery life seems to have been getting worse though lately with the newer nightlies.

Hmmmm... battery drain seems to be an issue with the unofficial CM12 nightlies.

I have been running a Resurrection Remix LP ROM (v5.3.4-20150213-yuga) and on this ROM, same apps and usage patterns, battery life is almost doubled.
It is almost rivaling KK longevity.

I am still confident this will be sorted out by stable official releases... or hope so, at least.

I just cannot go back from LP.

I've been running TeamCanjica CM 12 Beta#19 on my S4 i9500 for 2 weeks now and absolutely love it. No bugs what so ever. The only issue is that CM12 uses the camera wrapper from JellyBean as the kernel hasn't been released for Lollipop from Samsung.

Battery life is ok-ish, but not as good as stock TW 5.0 and after using CM12, I can't go back to a TW ROM.

I can't even get CM on my Note II. I obviously suck at this sort of thing.

Both manual and auto processes have failed so far. Going to try the CMInstaller again this evening and hopefully the stuff actually downloads and detects my phone plugged in this time.
