The Official Cyanogenmod Thread

I am experiencing another bug in Cyanogenmod 10.2 "stable" on my S3. When I end a Bluetooth call (car's Bluetooth) the default music player starts playing on the phone.

I thought this was related to Poweramp but since uninstalling it, Apollo now does the same...

Anyone else seen this? Any suggestions?

Well, I cannot say that I have heard of this prior to your post, but apparently, this is in fact a known issue.
Try installing this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.harleensahni.android.mbr&hl=en then try again.
 
I'm using CM11 on my S3 and have had no problems at all, other than the usual camera crap, so I use store camera apps which are far better IMO...
 
Is that the only issue? Would really like to try CM11. Is it easy to roll back if there are issues?
 
Anybody with a Xperia Z1 who as successfully flashed to CM?

Got mine on Saturday but seems like even a simple root is not that easy on this. And the amount of info is not nearly as much as the Samsungs.

You'll probably have to unlock the bootloader, one have to jump similar hoops on HTC - pain in the butt.

Hi everyone.

Apologies for the delay of my response, but I have been a bit bit busy over the last few days.

To the point: I have tested the CM11 Nightly (the initial CM11 Nightly release) on the S2 (i9100), and can confirm that it is very stable. Battery life is great, and the experience smooth and refreshing. Overall I have only had two minor issues thus far: the first was a minor issue in WhatsApp, where I cannot clear conversation history for group chats - individual chat works fine. The other was the local profile account, which I cannot configure/ setup. By this I am not referring to the profiles feature/ service, but to the local profile that configures your contact card, on your local device.

I would definitely recommend that you guys try CM11 - it is an absolute pleasure to use. Let me know your thoughts and experience on using CM11 if you have used it.

+1. And you should most definitely try out the Google now launcher while you're at it.
 
With my S3, I've been on CM 11 M3 for a month and just moved to M4- with no change in gapps. Everything seems fine.

I updated my wife's S2 to CM 11 M4 from 10.3 or something- this required a gapps update, to 20140105 .

My S3 is still on kk-20131208. Should I update that?

How often are the gapps updated? This is the first time I've seen a new gapps for the same CM (11).

Got CM11 M4 on my S3. What store camera (free) do you recommend?
