I don't believe it totally cuts it off, maybe it limits the boost quite a bit, but if you put the accelerator all the way in e.g. if you are overtaking, it will go into its normal boost, to give as much power as possible.

Think I will keep it in city mode. From what I gather from the youtube vids it gives a pretty good balance between fuel economy and power. May when on the highway once up to speed switch to eco?

Out of interest. When the car is put into Eco mode, does that turn the turbo off completely?

Most likely not. I've generally noticed that all it does is limit the revs. That's on a Honda Jazz that I'm driving this month and a Picanto I had previously. Unfortunately, no experience with turbo cars with an eco button

Getting my car today. Yay! Did not get it yesterday cause the paperwork did not come through in time. Tata gave me a courtesy car from yesterday as the insurance wanted theirs back. My guy from Tata coming to fetch me this morning to go sign the paperwork and then we swop cars. . Did I mention the Tata guy is really hot?

PS: As a safety precaution, check that all your tyres (including the spare) are inflated to the correct pressure ASAP - car dealers are notorious for NOT checking them first, before handing over the keys to the new owner!

There is is a receipt thing from I think Tiger Wheel and Tyre where they checked the pressure and alignment etc.

I really don't like or trust Tata. But have never owned or driven one. So I can't fault you for buying one. I really hope they are great cars my kids will need cheap cars in about 6 years

I made mention of it the other day. Chick (sexy as fark) here at work the other day was talking to me about the Mahindra Jeep thingy. I really liked it and for that price... But I'm just not ready yet to give Tata my money
