My wife had half the eggplant bake, and only a couple of slices of chicken so what you see there is about 1.5 portions of chicken.

Almost similar plateau. Coincidentally, I checked my earlier posts on this thread and I was about 91kg in May so I had dropped first 8kg in 5 months and mere 3kg over next 5+ months.

Probably lowest in 20+ years

Aiming to be 85 by end of the year now. Just need that final push in terms of diet & exercise. If that happens, I will be 5kg short of the target I set for myself but yeah, life happens

So, after reaching your goal, are you going back to your old ways?

It seems your current lifestyle is deficult for you, so it will be easy to slip back into old habits.
It is possible, yes. Aim is not to get back into old habits. I feel quite energetic & semi-athletic now and wouldn't like to get back to my earlier self - hopefully, that keeps on motivating me.

I lost about 20 kg about 10 years ago and, thankfully, never went back to my old ways. I think the main reason for my success was that, while I was dieting, I didn’t feel deprived of anything. Yes, in the beginning, I did experience some cravings and hunger, but those disappeared once I became fat-adapted.

It also helped that I addressed my prediabetes, blood pressure, acid reflux, and energy levels.

Wow, well done. To maintain lost weight is definitely as much as an achievement as losing it, if not more. I don't have prediabetes/acid reflux and hoping BP issue would be less as I go towards my "ideal" weight.
