yip, they grow them big on Mars...Holy **** you are tall.
wow - 30kg in 8 months is incredible. I considered wegovy but then our family have to go without food for 8 months - not practical right now.It works because you don't chow food, You don't need to be disciplined really as the drug helps with that.
lost 30kg in about 8 months. prob be more but I booze sometimes
I can easily overeat with wegovy, as evidenced by my weight chart. It works because you don't chow food, You don't need to be disciplined really as the drug helps with that.

Primary difference is the weight doesn't pack back on. But the loss stops completely.
Strangely enough, I find that NOT overeating became a habit - very naturally. I really don't recall having overeaten for at least 8 months. I mean one extra pizza piece doesn't really count as a binge.I am on Mounjaro, I find overeating quite hard most times but my stagnation usually coupled with boozing which obviously slows down any weight loss.
I was regularly exercising for most of the plateaus. Ironically, the last month I haven't exercised and the weight's dropping againStrangely enough, I find that NOT overeating became a habit - very naturally. Seriously, I am told that is how body works if you exercise regularly.

My biggest issue is that I like biltong and I eat more than I need. I now freeze everything that I dried and I just take out a small piece to defrost and chow. Worth noting I have game biltong in the freezer at least 9 months of the year but I dont dry everything at once anymore, else it just doesnt last..The best thing to suppress appetite is protein. So rather grab a handful of biltong.
That is in no way healthy. Especially at night.Started with this today as I really need to focus on diet again. Yesterday night, I had mixed 1 cup of rolled oats in fridge with chia seeds, yogurt, honey and topped with milk. Idea is to eat a portion of the mix whenever I feel like munching something unhealthy. Lunch has always been in control in terms of calories. Apparently oats are supposed to satiate you - will see.
Topped up with fruits that we have and having some of it right now. Tbh, I have never been fan of oats and hardly ever had it but it turned out to be yummy. I was skeptical at first.

I sometimes I wish I could but childhood indoctrination (not forced - just environmental) is strong. Oats will do for now.The best thing to suppress appetite is protein. So rather grab a handful of biltong.
Soaked overnight and having it for breakfast etc - I did mention I am having 'right now' and 'had soaked overnight'.That is in no way healthy. Especially at night.

One of the trials used for the approval of Ozempic was a a drug company-funded trial known as STEP1. It demonstrated impressive weight loss over 68 weeks of once-weekly injections, the more than 1,300 participants experiencing an average weight loss of 16.86 kg (37lbs). As always however, the devil is in the detail. DEXA body composition scanning was performed on 95 of the STEP1 subjects, and revealed first of all that less than 5% of fat lost was the more problematic visceral fat. Even more concerning, 41% of the total weight lost appeared to come from muscle and bone. You read that correctly. These subjects were on a path both to osteoporosis and sarcopenia (excessive muscle loss).
