Dude.. they influence the charts if the ZAR becomes stronger than the USD during the events.
USD was strong last year. It's been crawling since the year began which makes sense why events which normally wouldn't effect it as much, have a stronger impact now.

I'm not looking for anything, I'm giving my analysis. Which can be wrong but looking at what's happening with the USDZAR now, I don't think I am.

Analyst potential.

That's exactly it, it's an analysis. Easy to say in hindsight which factors affect it yet we don't hear a peep about the dozens of times when they don't. There's a reason economics isn't a science.

What we're seeing here isn't new though. Same thing happened in 2003 when the Rand weakened from 6 to 13. Then the manipulators get caught and it dives back down to R6.50. Why it's the most likely cause as the exact same things are happening.

Will this actually affect pricing? I mean why are video games still so high? I get over a R1000 a game when it was R17 to the $ but now?? I'd love these guys to be interviewed now, especially MS and their ridiculous online pricing.

Console games? Nope, it's a console, pricing will stay as is.

Just buy from online store that charges USD, then you get the best pricing normally :)

Still gaining. Maybe tomorrow 702 will let me know it has broken through 12.90

It made the R12.90 target, but has slide slightly since then.

More interestingly is this 52 Week Range 12.90 - 16.24

:wtf:
So your responses are fact?
:wtf:

Do you read what you wrote? Agreeing with me on 1 end but still talking about hindsight?
Look at my posts earlier in this thread, I've BEEN saying ZAR will strengthen for quite some time.

Good time to buy stuff :D
It just hit support, should play around here and 13.12 for a bit me thinks unless Zuma does stuff.

That's just it. It will strengthen but not for the reasons you mention.
