Install DRM Info from the Playstore. Check the Widevine certification - level 1 is needed for HD.
Playback on this box is not 100% smooth. Seems to be framerate mismatches between the various sources and output to tv. Not switching properly between 24, 25/50 and 30/60.
Not sure if it is the case on all android devices. My kodi box (libreelec) handles this 100% (switching frame rate and syncing framerate to display).
My eyes are very sensitive to judder, so bit of a letdown for me.

So zero Telkom data applicable even if only box bought on its own?nope, no need to monitor data usage. You could check your usage on your ISP, but I don't think thats really gonna work for you.
