I've downloaded the Alpha 2 version two days ago burned (ImgBurn) the ISO file to disk but the CD won't auto-start, anyone else with similar problems?
I use 3G to D/L so don't have more data to waste.

I downloaded one of the day releases just before Alpha2 and it works without a problem, there aint much updates from that to get to Alpha 2.

If the CHECKSUM is fine as suggested above, then try also installing the downloaded ISO to USB using a USB Creator, then boot off it to install.

I heard 12.04 would not fit on a CD, (700 MB+) but had to be burnt to a DVD?
Is this a fact? I have not actually bothered with trying out alphas this time round,

Why not just try it out on a virtual machine? No need for cd's, dvd's or flash drives.

I tried the USB Creator as suggested by smiley_lauf but same problems so my guess is that I've downloaded a file that somehow got corrupted, anyway I just wait for the final ISO file.
Thanks to all.
