Tried a mates 4mb uncapped from Friday night to Monday day 6pm and all i can say it was great account runs well but i will stick to my Red Hat account enjoy the 10mb speeds hehe:p

I've got to disagree too, I haven't had a problem with LoL, or any games (WoW, BF3) lagging, even while downloading.
Something else might be at fault in your case.
 
Can anyone state whether they have reached threshold yet?

And what would happen to BF3 pings should you reach threshold? Will you still be able to game?

For me there has been very little throttling / shaping after reaching the threshold. If I put on my downloads I get 420KBps despite having exceeded my 7 day usage limit (not by a lot mind you).

Pings are still between 180-200 to EU.

DenSweep, the other night I killed you a few times on Operation Firestorm on the roofs, while lagging :P
Just say Battlefield 3 lol ;)

Can anyone tell me what pings are for Heroes of Newerth EU servers (MMR servers too) and maybe Guild Wars, local Battlefield 3 etc will be fine I know, as I am disgusted with my supposed 'awesome' uncapped account because people suggesting it everywhere, getting crap pings of over 320ms to HON servers, basically unplayable...

EDIT: I should add on a 4Mbps account.

Just converted my 10Mb/s titan to 4Mb/s uncapped. Waiting for it to start on the 1st Dec. will feed back after then.

Well, I've got a 3GB trial account from WA. Will test tonight and decide whether to cancel Mweb or not. Just of late my games seems to be heavy laggy. It's not game performance, as I'm running at 80-110 FPS, so it must be pings. Well, let's see.
 
To HoN servers (I live in Cape Town):

Local 50-100ms

Europe 179-246ms (average around 190ms)

and USE is also playable with 250 - 280ms

Thanks Loopin ;) thats alot better, usually got those pings on my Axxess account, but have unfortunately changed to other uncapped options which does not work.. Lowest which I get on the server browser for HON to EU is 290ms which is already bad.

and USE is also playable with 250 - 280ms

Huh, USE what ? :p USA servers I guess, wow thats awesome pings!
 
Have you guys tried Leatrix Latency patch for windows? Works wonders for certain games that uses TCP instead of UDP.

Got my uncapped 4MBps account today and loving it. Good speeds and low latency when it comes to gaming Kudus to Web Africa

One thing i noticed about webafrica is there support has never let me down, whether it was on my hosting with them or my domain name or adsl. They always pulled through.

Ye sure they have had a few rough patches. But i rather have the odd rough patch then the constant problems with latency etc.

Web africa is known for there low latencies, they where always comparable to SAIX unshapped accounts since IS always had much higher pings.

Also there freezone is a first and its awsome for gamers aswell as linux users. Keep my ubuntu upto date no problem.

Also the ADSL console is the best out there. I have been with all the big players and no one can compare to there ADSL console.

For those thinking about moving to a uncapped account but want to game and stuff with low latencies then this is the account. If you just want to download then go with axxess or mweb you can go hog there connection to your hearts desire.

One suggestion that i would really like web Africa to look into is virtual hosting.
There is a big market for such things.
