:D currently sitting on 181 home/182 wold latency to wow eu while doing one of the new 5man hcs so even if gaming is on medium I'm loving the latency.
 
HI, has anyone who played Heroes of Newerth on this account this past week found that the game is totally unplayable, Yes pings are fine but it feels like the line is constantly congested.
 
Today's my first day with WebAfrica 4Mbps Home Uncapped and so far? I'm as pleased as punch :)

We'll see how it goes throughout the month.
 
First day on 4mb uncapped. Speeds are fairly good. Browsing is good for certain sites. Other sites feel as though the data is just struggling a little bit to get through as you would experience when there is a cable break. https connections seem to be affected by this lack of speed and timeouts. Pings were all over the place earlier on today(between 200 -700ms) - now slightly better. My work vpn (US server) would not connect at all this morning. Now it connecting intermittently but then dropping the connection after about 2 mins. When I switch to prepay account everything is just fine - blazing fast.

Youtube maxes out the line.

So not bad for the first day of what would be a major part of the uptake for uncapped. They are probably still adjusting to the load so will not judge it just yet. lets see after a few days.
 
forwarded port connection dropped during the night (don't know if this has anything to do with WA), will try skype over the weekend but overall so far so good.
 
:-/ I started with my WA account on the 29th, paid a pro-rata of R17.00.

So far most secure websites are having hassles connecting.. FNB banking was one of them. Also Battlefield 3 just doesn't seem to launch on this account no matter what, but switching to MWEB or Afrihost, I connect and join servers within 20 seconds..

I hope this gets sorted out soon, it has been like this since the 29th :(

However, youtube speeds and NNTP seems to be maxing the line no problems !

Does anyone struggle to connect to the PSN with the WA uncapped account? I always get errors but when i use my telkom account it connects immeditely. Thats very weird.

i think last time it happened , there google caching server went down or something in that line .
 
Decided to sign up cause of all the good experiences seen here... switching my uncapped to WA as of 1 Jan. Will report back here :D
