I'm also experiencing erratic connections to https sites. Exact same URL but with https it doesn't load most of the time, and when it does load it times out most of the time, but with normal http it loads and completes 100% of the time.
 
work vpn has now stayed connected for 10 minutes vs the 2 mins it was getting earlier in the day - seems like that is getting sorted.

HTTPS still seems to be touch and go
 
! everything working fine now !!! :D bf3 opening no problems.. good pings... Https websites all loading fine !!
 
Hi All.

Newbie here. Today I upgraded from Titan 2 Complete to 4mb Uncapped.

So far everything seems the same ( Fast and reliable ). Will check it out and give feedback.
 
wow yes ok https is still down. Hmmm they always have problems with https.
 
My home uncapped is still going strong. Although they have said that FreeZone doesnt count towards your cap I was capped yesterday because I downloaded Win8 preview from ftp.wa.co.za - according to support my account "is freezone enabled" and they were checking the issue; no response
 
Ok, this is bad now I cant even log in to most of my games with this account, however with other accounts theres no problem.
 
What is going here, everything is absolutely sucking.

Streaming (yeah right)
Browsing (taps fingers while images load)
Local Speedtest (Fine)
International Speedtest, high ping poor performance.
Continuous pinging of overseas sites, low latency no packet loss.

I'd like to have a look into this for you, seems very strange that certain protocols are too slow.
Can you please reply with the following, I'll have this passed onto the Engineering guys:

  • What speed Uncapped do you have
  • What's slow?
  • Have you reached your threshold?
  • Are you downloading anything in the background?
 
I cant even do a pingtest overseas with this account.

Wth is going on?

It was fine this past weekend but now its not usable at all and im not even abusing this account.

Im using the 1mb Uncapped

Mostly Gaming Protocols are unusable as in they constantly Jitter/Lag or does not even reach a connection at all.

No I am within my Threshold.

Im not downloading anything with this account.

What speed Uncapped do you have
- 4mbit

What's slow?
- Generally anything on a port that isn't high Priority depending on the time. Come 11pm everythings fine. (HTTP is always fine)
- Pings and raw throughput have been fine on http overall but if I do a speedtest there is a Lot of jitter to overseas, none to local.
- Havnt reached threshold

- Not in the past few days.

Are you downloading anything in the background?
-No
