WA throttling: said:
50% of their normal speed during business hours
80% of their normal speed between 5pm and 10pm
100% of their normal speed between 10pm and 7am, including the whole weekend

But 0-6am falls in the last line there....
 
what I've noticed is if your in the "throttled" pool before midnight you stay in that pool till morning. So just reset your router a few min after 12 and you'll have full speed till 6.

But it shouldn't be, since after 23.59:59, comes 06:00:01.

froot, your speedtest is seriously low, you sure you now also doing something else while doing the speedtest?

Mine is not great, but at least looks better: 4mbit account 10mbit line

Nope, line was idling.

Getting 90KBps on ftp now, but it was stuck at some ridiculous figure now now.
 
This is really confusing for me. Not that I'm gloating or defending W.A. but I've always had excellent pings and speed. Online gaming is always rock solid for me on Xbox Live.

I am on a 4mb Uncapped account and here as some of my results

CPT

What might cause some people to have such erratic speeds on their accounts? Location? DSlams? Throttled?

If I were W.A. I would get a little database going on the users having major problems and try and locate the one thing that causes problems for all. I'm sure there must be a reason.

That's exactly what I'm talking about.

They should make a database.

User - froot
Dslam problem - Yes / No
Throttled - Yes / No
Location - ?

Etc.

I'm pretty sure they will quickly pick up a trend if they start monitoring it that way.
