@David

Sounds like you got it all worked out - One thing is that 3.6 will only be switched on later in the year but all in all not a bad way of working things out there bud

MTNDD

Thanks - just dialled 16202 and I have 1.7 Gb of data remaining for downloading, time is running out :D :D

I will not sign any term-based contract with any service provider in South Africa EVER again. Especially not a telecoms provider. So MTN, Vodacom and iBurst can suck eggs w.r.t all these BS data "offerings".

If you're happy to support the fat cats who have only their own bottom lines at interest, then by all means, use your "better connection". When my two MTN contracts expire they will not be renewed. Sorry for you, MTN.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, that is yours and i respect that.:)
but i do urge you though to at least take a look at some of the specials we have on offer before you cancel, maybe you will find something of use there, at least keeipng one of those two numbers in the process yeah?:D

Keeping the numbers isn't that important. Keeping sight of MY bottom line is way more important. VM is offering exactly what I need. Gotta look after me, y'know? ;)

I don't trust VM lol.

Funny you should mention that, because at least I can trust VM enough to walk away from them if I am not satisfied with their service WITHOUT being tied into a 24 month contract.

And if I don't use all my data this month, hey, I get to use it next month! No strings!

That's my kinda wonderful!

Maybe MTN and VC want to LISTEN to the NEEDS of the MARKET (that's me).

Wish iBurst was reading this...they topped their accounts with 500Mb....so now it's R600 (R599 :p ) per month for 1.5Gb + modem :(

Very reliable and FOUR TIMES more expensive.

Sometimes a compromise is necessary.
