ok hi guys, i just saw on TV that Mweb is hosting unlimited Adsl 348 kb/s for only R220 pm????
WHERE IS THE CATCH???

i mean only R899 for unlimited 4MB/s internet? im must be smoking something!

EDIT i just realised that @lantic is doing the same thing for us?
are we actually taking a change in SA Broadband???

Well the uncapped is shaped and their are certain terms and conditions attached, besides that nothing else.

I cant get ADSL in my area so basically stuck with iBurst.

I have however taken the 4Mb/s Mweb offer and using it at my bro's house (and we are splitting the Mweb bill) and have set it up to do all my downloads. I have setup VNC so I can control what gets downloaded to a hard drive and will pick it up once a week.

I will be downgrading my Wireless 5 to Wireless 2 as it would be sufficeint for browsing and email.

If iBurst can offer an uncapped account at under R500.00 for 1Mb/s I will definitely take them up on it.

Good luck to iBurst with all the new ADSL offerings. I think they will become a fringe product used by people with no other option or they will simply not be able to be profitable and die a slow death.

You pay your own way if you don't stay in Joburg. Please forward this to everyone you know or your favourite radio station will be stuck on Celine Dion marathons for seven weeks.
