Glad you sorted out your "Group by" problem, though I just wanted to add you really shouldn't use the "Library" to store important data, infact you should avoid the whole "My Documents" thing like the plague (especially if it's on the OS drive/partition).

Some may disagree, but it's only a matter of time before it bites you in the butt.

Instead devise your own system/folder structure to store you photos and data, preferably on a drive that has nothing to do with the operating system.

Hi, yes I`v been bitten in the butt quite a few times before but I never learn, I backup vigorously though, I have two externals, they aren`t that organised on the externals but all the important stuff is on there, some doubles like my favorite pics.

It`s just convenient, lazyness I guess. I pop the memory card in, lightroom imports automatically, i cackup, I edit export and backup again. And the husband can find the pics easilywithout bufing me every second, if he wants to find something.

Thanks,I should really just setup my stuff to export to other locations. Windows tends to eat your files every now and again :-)
