So we're about 3 and a bit weeks away.

The new patch has already landed and lots of changes taking place. Anyone excited? How do you find the new build changes and missing abilities? Personally can't wait, and very excited. Haven't been this excited about a WoW expansion since WoTLK which was a massive let down tbh :o

I waited for the new patch to land before I boosted a character to 90. DPS charts showed a warrior to be a good candidate. Never before played a warrior, but man do I do a lot of damage. In that respected I am really enjoying the new patch. On the other hand I have a hunter with an upside down smile. No fun at all playing him and sitting in 13th place on a 25man. I love doing quests so looking forward to that. Intrigued by the garrisons thing.

Meh, posts like these just tempt me more and more to renew my subscription. Waiting to hear more about the end-game content before I do anything.

I'll be in game on the 13th of November will need to ride it out and see what happens :o

Ok 13 days to go. Last night I was thinking of buying the expansion so I'm ready. I just don't want to miss any "free" stuff so holding back a bit. Anyone know of any benefits currently for buying it directly from Blizzard pre-order?

There are no benefits of buying it pre-order or from the shops as far as im aware, the only difference is the standard and collectors edition. What ive done is ordered a collectors edition from takealot and got a standard edition from blizzard store. So i can play at midnight. You can then apply your CE code to your account and make a ticket asking for them to refund the standard edition and they will provide you with a code. then you can just sell that to a friend for R50 off. Least thats what ive done :)

Edit: Taken 2 weeks off work to get a head start :D

Bastard !

I'm going away from the 12th to the 16th on a little family weekend. Going to miss the start hype  But I'll just get buy the game from Blizzard tonight then.

Don't buy it from Blizzard on pre-order.... its *** expensive. Kalahari is selling it for R470 and there is a voucher - Kalahari (Expires 30 November 2014) – R100 off any purchase over R350.00 use code *GIFT100*

Don't know what character to boost to 90, I could do a hunter / lock or monk as I never played these.

Damn, I don't even have a pc anymore...got a 35/35Mbps fiber line sitting at home dormant. :p

Pitbull, I thought WotlK was actually a cool expansion. It introduced casual players to better content...having started in TBC, anything further than Kara25 was just a pipedream for us...also, back then you had to still GO to the dungeons entrances with groups...its the last expansion where doing dungeons was still genuinely fun.

I need to see if im going to continue playing...how does WoW run on SSD laptops? I suspect graphics might be an issue. Oh well :/

They tweaked the GFX slightly, more rounded. However should not be resource hungry. Pretty sure you will be able to play it on a Laptop with mobo GFX.

Monks are REALLY strong @ 100 looking at the sims. Hunters are in a weird place, i dont suggest playing one, its currently my main and im even unsure.

Whats good for ganking :P I decided I'm rolling horde on Ragnaros pvp.

Thinking of coming back but that means I'd have to buy a Mobo/CPU/RAM... *Off to Carbonite*

Why not come join us SA people on Daenor?
Also horde :p

Hmmm I actually was on there and moved my main to my original realm last week.(horde druid) .... moved there originally with Divinity and a week later the guild fell apart.

Tell me about it, I'd just go and reverse that if I could, but hell not paying for anther transfer.

What does the guild do ? Size etc ?

One of the members in our guild did a race change, regretted it, called in and they reverted it. Obviously she didnt get her money back, but maybe just call and say you regret it etc and you will be grateful if they reverse it.

No harm in trying.
