I loved my rogue in TBC but somewhere along the line they lost their ninjaness and became more broad based. Death knights were pretty much the rogue counter class and it all fell apart there. Same with my feral druid, I could take on any class with it except frostmage. Used to love pvp'ing in tank mode. I'd take down 1 player while 4 were on me, frenzied regen was the tits!

Ya im wondering if its worth buying a new PC ... i might as well if I still wanna continue playing my steam games et al, but right now Iæm at home 2 weeks a month if that, doing around 150hrs overtime a month on mountain tops and whatnot...and still busy learning Norwegian so my off time isnt what it used to be back home. :/

Pitbull, I thought WotlK was actually a cool expansion. It introduced casual players to better content...having started in TBC, anything further than Kara25 was just a pipedream for us...also, back then you had to still GO to the dungeons entrances with groups...its the last expansion where doing dungeons was still genuinely fun.

I need to see if im going to continue playing...how does WoW run on SSD laptops? I suspect graphics might be an issue. Oh well :/

I run it on my 2011 Macbook Air 11". Intel HD 4000 onboard graphics. Play it on good settings. This is when I play in bed:p
 
Guys do you reckon it's worth to start playing now? As in this weekend? Blizzard is running a special of 50 euro for everything including a 30 day sub, while it costs 44 euro for just WoD without the sub. I want to buy it now on a separate account as I don't know for how long the special will last, but once I buy it and DL it I won't be able to not play it.

I'm in two minds about buying the game online or just in store. I LOVE my MMO (and all other) game boxes. That new manual smell hmmmm...unfortunately ALL of my other game boxes are still in SA, so I'd have to rebuild my empire a new.

Yeah you'll get 30 days game time with the battlechest... Not with WoD... So this deal is cool for those who want to buy a whole new account, if you have an existing account, you'll have to buy WoD and still buy gametime seperate
 
Wtf is this game...got 2 levels from running 2 dungeons. Is it just me or are the xp rates crazy? 19 hours /played and already lvl 38...

It used to be way harder to level. They have now scaled it so you will reach 100 in the same time it would have taken you to get to 60 in Vanilla. So yes, it has been scaled very hard and low levels will feel like a waste. However, people have been playing the old content for about 10 years and now want to rush to get to the endgame content or Pandaria at least.

Vanilla took months to get to 60. It took me a week and a half of casual questing (+/- 2-3 hours every evening) to get from 1-90. Just entering an instance will grant you 2 levels.
