Yebo 4 Less

Basic info:

Vodacom-to-Vodacom: R 2.60 with up to 99% discount
Vodacom-to-other-networks: R 2.89 with up to 65% discount

I'm sure there will be more comments on how VC copied MTN:p. This doesn't even apply to me because I'm on top up.

This doesn't even apply to me cos I'm on MTN :D
And the fact that I'm cellphoneless cause of mine being stolen ;)

Skeptik, erm Starstreak just can't help himself....;)

Hehe so someone noticed my little nudge :p
Even though my spelling was off :D

OK, I switched over to Y4L. Fairly painless procedure: *111# and follow prompts.

I think its going to work out cheaper than 4U by a decent amount. e.g. on Peak calls to MTN the savings will be exactly the discount displayed.

I also switched. what cell info channel must I use?
PS: Strange...I am subscribed to YBL already but now when I dialed *111*444# prompted I am not subscribed??

I'm pretty sure the contract customers still get better rates overall...this just narrows the gap a bit.

I dialed *111*777# but I get an error.

I used the *111# thing to change over using Free Change and it said it was successful but *111*777# doesn't work. Cell Info on my phone (Nokia 6234) says it's not available on this network.

Help?

EDIT. I got the SMS saying I'm registered for Y4L but when I dial *111*444# (as per the instruction in the SMS) it says I'm not registered.

I have emailed them to this regard on countless occasions. The feedback is always 'contract customers already have cheaper call rates'. I mean wtf?!

Contract customers never get a good deal.

Look at the free 60mins CellC gives, Contract Customers need to finish their free minutes first.
VC prepaid customers has Talking Points and this now... :(

OK guys, please create another thread if you're just gonna moan about the contract guys not having Y4L. This thread is here to discuss Y4L so lets just keep it at that please.
