Your BIS Speed

Hey guys trying to determine which service provider offers the best/fastest BIS service.

Mine is as follows:
Bold 9700
MTN
Fastest download speed I received so far was 12Kbps :o

Oh and if you know of any nice apps to check your speed it would be great :)

Fastest download speed that I can remember is 48kbps from vuclip
 
via BIS? wow I was under the impression that vuclip doesn't run through BIS...I use a WIFI connection to play vuclip :)

Max Upload: 70.32 kbits/s
Up: 36.42 kbits/s

Max Upload: 92.42 kbits/s
Up: 83.32 kbits/s

i think you guys are testing vodacoms speed, not the BIS
 
Yes, I see some people going above 384kbps, so it is probably not through BIS as I think BIS just does normal 3G and not the 3G+

So the maximum theoretical speed is 384kbps you can get through BIS. Let me know if I made a error, but this is how I understand it.
