Your Favourite Open Source Software?

Networking and Security
ClamAV
ZoneMinder

ZoneMinder looks nice. I've put it under the Home Automation and IoT Category.

ClamAV certainly qualifies for the list but with the caveat that I wouldn't recommend it as an endpoint antivirus - AFAIK it uses purely signature detection which isn't going to cut it for protecting your PC or server. I see they are positioning it these days a solution for mail gateway scanning software.

EDIT:

VPN LAN
Zerotier
I like ZeroTier but I left it off the list because it has a proprietary license which has restrictions on commercial use rather than a FLOSS license. I haven't added MongoDB or Elasticsearch for similar reasons.

Check out Nebula and Innernet on the list which are similar.

I amended the one category to Electronics, Embedded and PCB Design and added BusyBox there rather than Utilities and added the two games.

I hereby award you a gold badge for your contributions to this thread!
Always a pleasure to help promote open source software. Thank you for putting in the time and effort to create the list.

Any possibilty of a section for emulators?
Example:
VICE(Commodore 64)
FS-UAE(Amiga)
Mesen(NES/SNES)
BlastEm(Sega Genesis)
Altirra(Atari 800)
Stella(Atari 2600)
PCSX-Reloaded(Sony Playstation)
Fuse(ZX Spectrum)
MAME(Arcade)
