Thanks. Added. i mixed that categories up a bit - Icecast and Libretime went to Graphices and Media and Delta Chat into Productivity and collaboration.

SpamAssassin reminded me to add Scrollout F1

When I think of SpamAssassin I kind of picture saying it in a Sean Connery accent -"SpamAshashin Mish Moneypenny. Yesh."

But that's just me.

Not exactly open source, but for those looking for Kindle books to read I recommend signing up for the daily Free Kindle books newsletter for (mostly) free Kindle books. It has saved me a fortune :)

from when we started the list I was hesitant to add Odoo - great software but from the time they rebranded as Odoo from OpenERP they've seemed to me that they might turn their back on FLOSS at some point like SugarCRM did. I read recently an article that they are doing well though.

Odoo fans should also check out Flectra which is a decent fork of Odoo.

Thanks. I've added the software items.

I think OS hardware merits its own list. I also intended to keep this list focused on FLOSS applications and do that well (which is why I haven't included distro's apart from a couple of specialised ones like Security Onion.)

Please don't think of this as my list - you of all people have contributed at least as much as I have, if not more. I know I have couple of opinions about what should be included but that is mainly to promote quality Open software versus proprietary freeware.

Yes, probably best to limit it to just software.

Yes, I also thought that a few more would chip in. But i think there's a lot of value showcased on this list for those who are interested so it's been a worthwhile exercise I think. A couple of nuggets that i didn't already know about have turned up!
