BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone now in SA

I have seen one in white from VC, not sure if I would like it though.

Seems like it would go off colour and even look dirty :erm:

Anyway, now have my black Storm 2 :D
 
hrm..bold 9k prices will start dropping and cheaper packages (i hope) will come out.
 
I have an MTN upgrade coming up this month, but I'm saving up to import a nexus one. So I might take a 9700 and sell it off immediately. For around R4500. Think its worthwhile?
 
Unfortunately, like all other blackberries, a few menu layers down and you are back in Windows 3.11 with boring text only sub menus. Plus you need BIS to do pretty much anything.

I never got the whole blackberry thing and I always thought that Symbian was the one with the least eye candy in their UI. That was until I played around with a blackberry...
