So I want to to access DSTV on Demand, since we already have Midnight to Morning bandwidth, and you can download DSTV on Demand for later viewing, it just makes sense.

The only thing stopping me is, iBurst not being on the "approved ISP list". I know its all about peering and that stuff, but what prevents iBurst from offering this service?

you are in for a nice sub standard SD surprise. when dstv on demand is worthwhile... well then rave about it.

what aproved list it only works fro MWEB ADSL subscribers for now,
just use your after hours time to download from torents

Awesome News, Thanks r00igev@@r !!
Any preliminary details regarding the activation date? Or do you perhaps need beta testers to run some trials? hehe :D

Which isp's is on the list. And how can I get it.

Apparently MWeb only thus far, but MyBroadband had reported Cybersmart, Vox and some other guys signing up for the service. I tried a friends Cybersmart Account but the system wouldn't even respond to the request.

Supersport has something similiar too, but more on the live Sport Streaming and Highlight reels. But I dont know if it has the same Mweb restrictions, havn't tried it yet.

Ofcourse, the only downside is that you need to be a DStv Premium Subscriber to access these services.

Last time I checked there were around four movies available.

I count 4 pages of movies with 12 movies on each page...save the last page which has 5, that's 41 MOVIES!!!

Or TEN TIMES MORE THAN FOUR!

Yeah, I saw 100's of pages, with 50 movies on each page

oh wait, that's another program..... :p

Ok, I'll bite. I'm a premium DSTV subscriber, although I don't have the HD extras. I should still be able to access DSTV On Demand though, right?

I'll help test for you too if that's the case. :)

what would be awesome is decent HD streams...

I am certain with all the extra bandwidth you have, you can still do that?

There is too little to do anything with traffic, it is so shaped that you have to buffer it all time and no video streaming. Have found same thing on youtube, when my speed was 800kbps, video was 400kbps and it buffered terribly. 512k ADSL has no problems here.
