Ladies and gentlemen, I require your assistance. I have a Torch that refuses to connect to the internet. My Twitter and Facebook work perfectly, but when I try to load a webpage, it says "Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later."

I though it was a network related issue till I grabbed my moms 8900 and its connecting perfectly. Vodacom customer care is clueless. Any ideas? It used to work, but stopped a day or two ago. Id also like to add that the browser works when I connect through wifi.

Thanks

Ok got it working. Should anyone experience my problem in the future, I did the following:

"go into Options > Device > Advanced System Settings > Service Book > Deleting any WAP or Internet Browsing (IBS) entries > Exit. Now via Options > Device > Advanced System Settings > Host Routing Table > Press menu > Select Register Now > Logon to the BlackBerry web client (or use the “Email Settings” icon) and via Help select to resend the service books."

I have the exact same problem on the torch, so does one of my friends... It is driving me nuts! I have found the following sometimes worked:
Host routing Table --> Register --> Shut down phone --> Restart after 2 minutes...
But why do I need to do this, it is supposed to work without this nonsense.
PS, I had both MTN and Vodacom in my phone with the same result.

Long story short, there is a service book called 'Blackberry Internet Service 2' (make sure it has the '2' on it). Delete this bad boy and apparently it works - did for me and a lot of other users on the forum.

Problem is (apparently) every time you reboot it puts that service book back so remember to make sure it's deleted.

Dude, RIM solved the problem weeks ago. Nothing to delete anymore.

Well it sure as hell didn't work for me when they fixed the problem. Glad to see they plugged the whole though. Does that mean when I get service books sent to me this service book won't be among them?
