Hi guys I have some questions regarding Web Africa's pre paid accounts.

I want to get a back up account for when my primary isp is giving me problems(currently at afrihost uncapped, yes I already canceled)

So here are my question regarding Web Africas pre paid accounts.

Is it instant activation with debit order as payment?

Do you get each month 1gb or selected data only when you request it?

Is it available only if you have a adsl line with them?

should be instant, i think they accept credit cards and eft also.

prepaid is 1gb data once off, that never expires.

currently at afrihost uncapped, yes I already canceled) <----smart :P

anybody can buy the data, don't have to have line with them.

Yeah its just since beginning of January Ive been having problems. I still keep disconnecting in wow and line is jsut unstable.

Ive been countless hours on the line with them and telkom and no one can help me. Sigh

So Im getting the pre-paid to see f its better because my friend on openweb has no problems.

Prepaid rolls over every month and doesn't expire. If you need another GB, you can order it via your DSL Console.

Not at all. You can have a prepaid account with us even if the line isn't with us.
 
Quickest is to pay with a CC, else its a bit of paper work to activate your WA acc.

There is a problem with IS loosing packets over the last week - theres a thread on here somewhere. Causes dc's in games. All IS based packages are experiencing this (capped and uncapped)
 
why does it matter about IS? wa dont use them for capped, they use saix based or there own network bandwidth.
 
Well I got the account, still need to fax them to confirm the debit order but thus far its great!! Still testing tho but all seems well. Will let you guys know how my raiding was tomorrow ^^

Oh and regarding the IS issue. Why should we the customers diagnose the problem and let Afrihost know about it if it has been going on for more than a week? Why has it taken this long to be resolved? Poor in my book
