Novatel 3G U630 free external antenna???

In the above post you will see that the Vodacom customers gets a free external antenna for the U630, it's even delivered...

Is MTN's customers also entitled to this? Did anyone get an external antenna with their purchase, if yes, where did you get it from and did it make any difference?

Where can I go and buy one, and how much will it be...?

I got a free one from Nashua Mobile (MTN), and it does make quite a diffence. Without I get around 8/30 signal and with it around 13/30 at home. Where I am right now I get 18/30 without and 27/30 with (gprs).3G signal is 8/30 without, and 12/30 with.

It does make a noticable difference. NM wanted to charge me R200 at first, but I can be real persistent sometimes :)
 
These antennas are badly out of stock... The MTN service centres doesn't even know it can take an external antenna...

BUT

it seems that the Vodashops are well stocked with it at a quoted price of
R180.00.

I'll take the plunge and buy one. I'd rather pay and get it now, than wait for MTN to smell the.... coffee?
