SA cellular bigwigs reveal their mobile phones of choice

Where is that guy that called Blackberry users stupid! Android and Blackberry clearly the choice phones here. Even people who have a choice of virtually any phone they want still opt 4 BB's. Can the BB haters stfu now :-). Peace and Love.
 
Cell C loves Android so much that their CEO uses nothing but Blackberry :o
 
Just cause the CEOs of our service providers chose Blackberry's, you have to.
 
Judging by 8ta's current selection of phones, I have no doubt that the Motorola is the actual phone used by Mr. Maharaj ROFL :D
 
Sigh. In this Age of Brandism, I s'pose it's not surprising that people are judged by what gadgets and cars they have. The real news is not what phones these guys have, it's that other people think it matters.

Because in a corporate environment BES is the best thing out there for phones at the moment. Blackberry started off primarily as a robust and reliable corporate communication tool and to this day it still is (well with the exception of RIMs recent slip). I'm sure that the guy who called BB users stupid was referring to the multiple thousands of fad users who have all flocked to BB for the BBM service as well as for "fashion" purposes.

It doesn't explain why their BB services are so bad.... do these guys have a separate BB service that they use ?

I think its hilarious that the MTN dude uses an iPhone when they were originally exclusive to Voda. I wonder if he was one of those guys that had the iPhones on the MTN network when they were exclusive to Voda, did he get it from a vodashop or did he import his ? whahahahah

8ta head Amith Maharaj was contacted to find out which phone he uses, but despite numerous attempts to get information from the company they would not comment on this issue.

yip bes from bb is still the best for most corporates. ask the normal IT guys setting phones and laptops up in the big companies for management. things might change if iphone gets a similar "uncapped" service for less then R80 pm
