Sad about Roy Padayachie, who is to be Public service minister. He at least seemed to "get it" w.r.t importance of cheap internet for everyone.

Dina Pule the new Minister of Communications

Ms Dina Pule, currently the Deputy Minister for Performance Monitoring and Evaluation, has been appointed Minister of Communications.

Mr Obed Bapela, the Deputy Minister of Communications, has been appointed Deputy Minister in the Presidency for Performance Monitoring and Evaluation.

ANC Member of Parliament, Ms Thembisa Stella Ndabeni, will become the Deputy Minister of Communications.

That's her qualification for the position of Minister of Communications? No honours degree, certificate in report writing? :wtf: Zuma really has no fscking clue what he's doing!
 
How can Zuma or the ANC expect foreign investors to take this country seriously?!

What a bloody waste.
Roy at least had his head screwed on properly...
 
What the hell!! We finally had some progress under Roy. OR maybe that was the problem!

Could one of many reasons :
- Not the right skin colour ?
- Not connected enough within the ANC ?
- Not corrupt enough to allocate tenders to cronies - without getting caught ?
- Making progress and letting the other ministers look bad ?

Pick one, any one.
 
Well Zuma had to move him he promised LLU by November and we all know that won't happen - he would have lambasted by the ADSL community.

Now we eagerly await the new minister's announcement that Roy got the year wrong was not this November :)
 
Actually the shoot first ask questions never approach might have helped in communications ...
