PC Chassis: Thermaltake Element S, Coolermaster Enforcer or HAF 912

Hey guys (and girls),

I have the choice of the above indicated chassis as an early christmas present. I kind of liked the Enforcer but then I saw the "hump" which I'm not too fond of so much.

I really like the design of the Element S but saw online that it is basically the same price as an HAF 912 and everyone raves about the HAF X.

All opinions will be considered in my choice :)
 
I woiuld go with the HAF, i have the 932 and it's a wonderful case. This is just my personal opinion though. Element S also looks nice.
 
i like my haf912 for this reasons:

its silent with 200mm fans in front and top, with 120mm at the side(keep stock one they gave you for the back , its low rpm not allot of noise), and nice fast 120mm at the back , making for decent cooling without all the noise.

it has see though panel , let me be honest , i want to look at hardware that hard earned money bought :P

black inside always nice with cable management holes, dont like the messy cables .

i would go for the enforcer or haf series, or silencio if you want a true silent pc.
 
I have the storm enforcer and not too sure what this hump is you are talking about, is it the front panel?

The board is great and has enough room for massive gfx cards and has removable hdd bays. It is very quiet with a system installed and remember when you have a disc in the drive, you can close the door and it is nice and quiet

Definitely an amazing experience opening the box and building your pc in this case, very easy to do and the quality is just great.

If there is one problem is that it is very heavy when fully assembled, good quality steel :D

I think the 912 and enforcer are the same just with a diff front so its up to you but the enforcer just looks mean and clean/professional

Thermaltake are not the same as they used to be with regard to quality

Thanks guys for all the feedback. I think I'm going with the Tt. Although the cable management etc. is nice I'm not a fan of the rugged look HAF. I like sleek styles :) I was looking at the Silencio chassis but it's too glossy and will most probably be a harvenger of dust in my place.

Silencio 550 is hardly glossy at the front.

It has the best anti dust system / removable dust filters in any sub R1,000 chassis I've seen.
 
Thanks Postman, I'm putting in my order through Takalot for the Silencio 550 tomorrow morning. Can collect in CPT which is a big plus :)

Cool. Are they not closing for the year? Because AFAIK their suppliers closed today at 15h00 (I was there, could have picked up your case :().

I'll call them tomorrow morning. According to the site they have stock in Milnerton. I'll be in the vicinity anyways (have to pick up gym equipment for the gf in tableview).
 
What isn't silent?

The stock fans? They're silent.

Sound emanating through the "sound dampening" panels from added components? Well yeah, doesn't entirely help, did you think it would? Best way for silence is using huge/silent heat sinks for CPU, gfx etc. :D

The build I did in the link I gave earlier was completely silent (decent PSU, Thermalright HR-02 Macho cooler, silent GT520).
