Axxess offers massive 10Mbps uncapped ADSL price cut

Wonder what the shaping is like.

Probably disastrous.
 
10Mbps costing same as 4Mbps. There must be a catch. What is the FUP?
 
I've been on the 4MB offer for over a year and it works VERY well particularly at night and over weekends
 
According to the Axxess website, this pricing is valid until 31 October 2012, but it may be extended “due to demand”.

What happens after the 31st?

Do people who sign up keep that pricing going forward?

Normal pricing kicks in?
 
How about they just make default line speed 10mb . Entry Level 4mb Mid Level 10mb ... they should include line rental etc when listing these prices

Or even better, label their top-end product as 'Up to 10Mb/s', which includes all speeds from 4Mb/s - 10Mb/s.
 
Using one of their 10Mb uncapped accounts currently. The shaping on torrents and file sharing sites during the day is horrendous but at night it flies.
 
Nice move. Hope other ISP's can follow this. Will be great to see what happens.
 
Very nice pricing, but i'd rather get the 10Mbps account at Afrihost just because I trust them and did not have a single problem with them in the 2 years i've been with them.

Do you know Afrihost also owns Axxess?

now it seems afrihost have to compete against itself as none of the other ISPs seem up to the challenge :p
