The invitation says nominated persons should have suitable qualifications, expertise and experience in the fields of broadcasting policy, postal policy, electronic communication and public policy development, among others.

Kinda weird how councillor requirements are so particular when the fkcing Minister of Communications has a degree in sociology.
 
JTech I am on it - will be sending through the MYADSL nominations before the deadline so don't worry about that. Will also be sending through our letter of request (/demand*) to be included in the 'experts' panel who makes recommendations to the PPCC.

mooK you make a good point as usual. Several months ago Antitrust tried to get details and proof of the MoC's education background, yet her former SA school and the US's Stanford uni refused to assist us. So who actually knows whether or not she even has these qualifications or not :/
 
As nice as it would be to have some familiar faces as councillors I have zero faith in the abilities of ICASA to perform a worthwhile function.

EDIT - dont get me wrong - its not that I dont have faith in the individuals concerned.
