Help - Server uptime/webapp availability monitoring

Hi All

I need a hand findiing an uptime monitoring service for a webapp/server for SLA reporting - I don't need much but the ability to generate reports and possibly send sms/email alerts.

Can anyone recommend any services? I'd rather not use an app locally as it would be reliant on my dsl service.

The question is whether you are willing to pay for it or not. I know of one that seems to be quite nice, they also offer emails when your server goes down. The only problem is that some of these companies can't guarentee 100% service uptime and they tend to charge quite a bit for minute checks.
