So far I haven't seen any feedback from the trialists on MyBroadband. What's going on? We need to see speeds and tests posted to these forums from the trialists ... or perhaps they are locked into some sort of NDA?

well i seriously need wimax as replacement for adsl - my line problem hasn't been resolved after 18 ref no's (4 year problem). (super n00bs)

curiousity's killing me... Since the imbeciles at Telkoms various helpdesks couldn't tell me where/how to apply for myself.

You can't. Telkom are not offering WiMAX as a product. According to them, it's only for those people for whom ADSL doesn't work, and who also happen to be in a WiMAX coverage area. If you apply for an ADSL line and they can't supply it to you, then in theory, they will call you back and offer you WiMAX as an alternative.
There is no mechanism in the cumbersome Telkom machinery for applying for WiMAX directly. This may change, but that's the situation as of Tuesday this week.
