Computer literacy now vital at all levels of the organisation

Computers are use in all walks of life, send staff of basic pc courses, that just boost their confidence levels too.
 
I think that something needs to be done about people who are already computer literate and are forced to endure courses like ICDL at tertiary institutions. It terrible having to sit in a class with a book showing pictures of the windows desktop.

I was lucky to have missed that, but I know someone right now who is being forced through that. Its totally unfair.
 
I thought it was pretty obvious by now that computer literacy is vital... still, it's good to see that companies are starting to get involved. They've most likely realised that they kids of today are the workforce of tomorrow, and so are helping with education where they can :)

Computer literacy is becoming by far the most essential skill in the job market. From begginners to understanding and operating advanced software in various fields to plant automation - no doubt about it, pc skills definitely improves efficiency in the work place.
