Airport Express, airtunes

Gents..
I am really interested in buying one of these apple devices. I have a high fi in the living room and then my MacBpro in my room. I would like to play my Itunes music in the living room. I also have a netgear wireless router for my internet connection.

So the question is, does any of you have one and how does it perform.

I've got two and they work great. I was hoping they would have come out with a 802.11n version by now but oh well.
 
I have one in the lounge, "connected" to my Gigabyte Wireless router in the study, and plugged into one of the AV sections on the hi-fi. It works really well. I open iTunes on my MBP, tell it to play to the lounge, and there you go ... soothing music flowing through the lounge.

The nice thing about this is that I don't have to play my iPod via some FM transmitter to the hi-fi anymore ... both iPods stay in their respective allocated vehicles

They're also great for extending a wireless network or if you want to keep your printer tucked away somewhere.
 
Also have one - works brilliantly connected to my Home Theater in the lounge. Use it via tape input.
You won't be sorry you got one.... Always connects to my Linksys router..
 
Got one over the weekend and installed the software and it just worked. I dont know why I have not moved to Mac stuff long time ago.
