Cellphone and Apple news stories are often getting put in the PC Hardware & Gadgets forum, rather than the correct Cellular and Apple forums.

That one I placed there intentionally because it is about the PlayBook which we consider a gadget

Under former CEO Lars Reichelt, Cell C rolled out a 21Mbps HSPA+ network and also shook up South Africa’s broadband market with never-before-seen data pricing in September 2011

"That" needs to be replaced with "than" in the fourth paragraph, last sentence.

The why would you think... article contain's the following two travesty's in DIRE need of correction's (yes, all of that IS intentional)

Smartphones – the future of hand held mobile computing

Smartphones are also the future; there is very little doubt about that.

So, EngineerIT (from whom one frankly expects more) is not without its own share of problems: Hans in his SumbandilaSat article dropped that most BASIC of clanger:
We have determined that this trip was not a “legitimate” trip and was caused by the state of the primary controller. In other words, there was nothing wrong with the OBC. We could instruct the backup controller to switch on in “override” mode which would ignore all trips, and this worked, but it was not safe since in override mode the switch looses some functionality required for the OBC to operate reliably (the normal mode used for the OBC is called AutoWatchdog mode and includes auto reset after a trip and a watchdog mechanism to power cycle the OBC should it become unresponsive). What we needed was an AutoWatchdog mode, but with a hardware trip override active.
    ...maybe point him to enlightenment?

Hans again: in his batteries article he opens with "Lead acids batteries can be dangerous" - that should be lead-acid, or maybe even lead acid. Just not acids.

He repeats this further down at "This incident clearly illustrates that lead acids batteries can be dangerous if proper environmentally safe processes are not followed."

Yet further down, fixes are needed at "The problem is size and power output. Prof. Phil Bartlett from Southampton University, for example, calculated that to create 2 W of power for a mobile phone fuel cell the electrode would need to be 4 m2." That should be 2W and, preferably 4m˛ but, if superscripts are a problem to generate, 4m2 at the very least.
