Good deal for a Laptop under R16k?
I'm trying to find a good laptop for work, preferably under R10 000, and I've come across this one:
ASUS K61IC Series Notebook (ASUS K61IC-JX017V),
Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2GHz 2MB L2 Cache 800MHz FSB
4096MB DDR2-800 SO-Dimm Memory (2x2048)
320GB SATA 5400rpm Hard Drive
DVD Super Multi writer optical drive
16" WXGA HD Color Shine (1336x768 Resolution) TFT LCD display
nVidia Geforce GT220M with 1GB dedicated graphics
802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN, 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Lan
1.3MP Webcam
Bluetooth
Full Size Keyboard
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition
2.6kg
2 Year collect and return warranty
USB Mouse
Do you think this is a good deal, or can I get something better? It will be used mostly for Photoshop and similar programs, so I need to have a relatively good graphics card and lots of memory. I don't really care about the size of the screen since it will be plugged into a CRT monitor most of the time anyway.
Any advice would be appreciated.
