    Question Current DSL Reliability ??

Ok, here's my newest headache, I with Axxess & have a 4gig account which I've had for a while whish it was allyoucaneat

Anyway, I haven't really noticed this before because I think I usually am cut off before the end of the month. I have used 3.9gigs out of the 4.0gigs, over the laste 4 days online gaming has taken a huge ping backwards if you know what I mean whereas it used 2 be smooth, I am playing BFME 2 currently, it's unplayable online now

HTTP I think is a little slower but not by much but it's noticeble

Is this normal for the last days of the month? I dont see why my last 100mbs should be any different 2 my first 100mbs! Is anyone else on Axxess experiencing problems like this or on any other ISP ?

P.S. I bet cause of these strikes we wont get a DSL line rental fee drop this month, as they will blame it on the strikes & use our cash which they would never have the following month to pay all these strikers.

Er - the first post in the link provided by allyoucaneeat is dated 26-03-2006, 05:45 PM. That is the 26th day of the third month (March) in the year two thousand and six.

Has anyone logged a fault report? Or does anyone know of a fault report on the saix network?

can't log it with 0800 375 375 <- these guys do the line support and the line is working fine. I think you need to log faults with your isp who inturn have to push/log a fault with saix. me gonna do it if its not fixed by tomorrow night seeing i'm busy tomorrow.

    Arrow Ok Ok

I phone my ISP Axxess, they say maybe telkom is re-routing traffic, not sure about that though

I phoned telkom, they aren't aware of any kind of problem it seems, well atleast the person I spoke to, made a fault report have 2 fone back in an hour & get an update from them. I checked their dns settings are still the same so that aint the problem. Told them I dont think it's just my area in particular as well.

The one test I got a 114kbps download & 77kbps upload from Los Angeles on a 512 line that is weak.....

    Will post what happens next.....
